Scuba is easier than you think! Most anyone can do it!

All classes include instruction scuba equipment and air fills. Books and other required equipment, unless noted are additional. Please call us for pricing and additional questions.

Introduction to SCUBA: We offer a fun 4 hour class that introduces you to scuba. We spend about 2 hours in the classroom and then 2 hours in the pool. This class includes all equipment; all you need to bring is your swimsuit and ready for an adventure! We also offer group discounts. This is a great option for birthday parties, scout troops and clubs. If you decide to continue with Open Water classes, you will receive a discount on that class.

Open Water:Our format is different: we offer classes over 2 weekends and will have you diving faster than anywhere else. We train you how to dive up to 60 feet and teach you the skills you need to dive anywhere. We give you information where to dive in the Puget Sound, what kinds of life there is to see, and introduce you to the exciting world under the waves. Our staff works with you 1 on 1 to make sure that you are prepared to dive not only in Puget Sound but in warm water too. The class includes instruction, pool and open water dives, BCD, Scuba unit, gauges and computer, weight and a wetsuit for diving in Puget Sound. At the conclusion of the class, you will receive a card from PADI certifying you to dive anywhere in the world. We start private classes anytime, based on your schedule.

We also do warm water referrals and accept referrals for check out dives in Puget Sound.

Class start dates for 2008: Feb 1, March 7, April 4, May 9, June 6, July 11, August 1, September 12, October 3, November 7 and December 5.

Scuba Reviews: Has it been a while since you have been in the water, certified in warm or fresh water or just want to update you skills? Sign up for a scuba review. This class is custom tailored for you and can include a classroom session, pool dives and at least one open water dive with an instructor or dive master. We teach these classes at your request.

Adventure Diver: We like to teach this class right after completing Open Water certification, but you can start any time. We have 1 night in the classroom to prepare you for 5 different dives: Deep and Navigation, and 3 other dives of your choice which can include drift, wreck, dry suit, boat, search and recovery, peak performance buoyancy, underwater naturalist or underwater photography. We also brief you on boat diving in the Puget Sound. Our staff then takes you out in Puget Sound. Our students say this is their favorite class because there are no skills...just diving and having fun! It is a great class to help you build confidence and make you a stronger diver. We teach this class monthly. 2008 dates are: Jan 25, Feb 22, March 28, April 25, May 30, June 27, Jul 25, Sept 26, Oct 31, Nov 28.

Rescue Diver: We offer the new PADI Rescue Diver course. This class teaches you what to do in case of an emergency while diving. It not only tells you what you should do to save yourself but others you might be diving with. We spend 2-3 night in the classroom and pool discussing and practicing these skills, then 2 days in the open water with the opportunity to actually "rescue" someone. We offer this class 4 times a year so call us for dates. Our next rescue class is August 7th.

Emergency First Response: This is a first aid/CPR class with a twist...we not only teach you what to do if someone isn't breathing but also how to handle other emergencies...not just diving related ones. This class (or a valid CPR/First aid card) is required to complete Rescue Diver. We run this class in conjuntion with Rescue Diver course.

Specialties: We do certifications in specialties including Enriched Air, Deep, Dry Suit, Night, Boat, Navigation, Wreck, Drift, Equipment, Fish ID, Diver Propulsion Vehicle, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search and Recovery, and the new Digital Underwater Photography certification. We do a different class each month so call the store to find out what is available this month. We offer Nitrox every month, and other specialties by request.
