| Learn to SCUBA!

Adventure awaits you!
Myth: Puget Sound Waters are cold and dark
Fact: Puget Sound is cold. Water temperatures do not vary much all year; staying in the low 50's. However, it is far from dark! It is a bright world of starfish, crabs, invertebrates and colorful fish that are as beautiful as in the Caribbean.
Myth: You can only learn to SCUBA in the summer.
Fact: We teach SCUBA all year round. In fact, we prefer to teach in the winter months when the waters are clearer and less competition for space on the beach. We outfit each student with a 7mm wet suit so even on the cold winter days in January, you stay warm in the water! We have classes starting weekly.
Myth: It takes weeks to learn SCUBA.
Fact: You can be certified in 4 days! Our weekend class format has you diving the first day and certified in 2 weekends.
Myth: Learning to Dive is expensive.
Fact: $299 gets you into the next Open Water Diver Class! While any hobby or sport can be expensive, a day of diving costs less that a ski lift ticket at Crystal Mountain or a round of golf.
Myth: You must be young and physically fit to SCUBA dive.
Fact: Anyone who can swim can learn to dive. We have certified divers as young as 10 years old and as old as 80. With a few health-related exceptions, everyone can learn how to SCUBA. |
